Who We Are
Roger Solow, DDS.
Roger Solow received a BA in Biology from UCLA in 1975 and his DDS with honors from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1978. He is a general dentist and has a full time, fee-for-service practice that he limits to restorative dentistry in Mill Valley, California. He is a Pankey Scholar and was a visiting faculty at the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida for 19 years. He has taught restorative dentistry at UOP Dental School and has lectured to study clubs, dental societies, and the national meetings of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Solow has been a Fellow of the American College of
Dentistry, member of the Academy of Operative Dentistry, and a member of the American Equilibration Society.
Dr. Solow has published over 50 articles on restorative dentistry, occlusal analysis and equilibration, and interdisciplinary implant restoration in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, Journal of Craniomandibular and Sleep Practice, General Dentistry and Advanced Dental Technologies and Techniques. He authored the chapter Occlusal Bite Splints in Irwin Becker’s Comprehensive Occlusal Concepts in Clinical Practice. He authored the chapters Computerized Occlusal Analysis in Occlusal Splint Therapy and Centric Relation Records and T-Scan Occlusal Analysis of Centric Relation Prematurities in Robert Kerstein’s Handbook of Research on Computerized Occlusal Analysis Technology Applications in Dental Medicine.

Scottie received her dental hygiene degree from Diablo Valley College and has over a decade of experience in dental hygiene. She is fascinated by the science of dentistry and oral health, particularly in the oral-systemic links and the microbiome. She enjoys helping people improve their health through taking better care of their mouths. When she is not working, she can often be found hiking the hills of Point Richmond.

I received my Registered Dental Assistant training at College of Marin, Indian Valley campus and did my internship in a general dentistry practice. I like working with patients to create a safe and comfortable environment for the best experience possible. Outside of dental I am the mother of 2 kids, 7 and 12 years old and we enjoy hiking and biking together.
